How To Share Your Story
1. Reach Out
Decide whether you want to submit a written piece or request an interview. Focus on your journey, experiences, and reflections.
Chosen to Write: – Email us at voiceintransit@gmail.com – No fee or charge.
Chosen to Get Interviewed – Please email voiceintransit@gmail.com. Where then we can schedule an virtual hour interview. – The record will not be released it would be kept with us as we may need to look back on when writing – No fee or charge.
2. Review & Editing
For those who are writing once you submit, our team carefully reviews your story. Within two weeks, you’ll receive one of three outcomes: Acceptance, Denial, or a request for Revision.
For those who have gotten interviewed in 2 weeks we send back a draft article in which we work with you to make sure the article fits you comfortable
3. Publication
Whether you’re submitting as a writer or being interviewed, there are absolutely no fees involved. It doesn’t matter if you’re a small business owner or an individual immigrant—what matters is that your voice is heard. Voice in Transit is a free, community-driven platform. We never ask for payment, and our work is not revenue-driven.
Guidelines & Form to Submit Writing
– Share a true story or reflection about moving, adapting, or finding belonging. – Keep it 600–1,200 words, with a title and short author bio (1–2 lines). – Write in a clear, personal, and respectful tone — no politics or offensive content. – Images are optional — you can submit with or without photos.
